I recently started a vegan lifestyle and recently learned about this shop (3 hours ago.) For my first vegan cafe/restaurant, I have to say this was a pleasant experience indeed. The veggie burger was enjoyable; the white honey mustard layered on the ciabatta bread set the tone and made it that more palatable. The shake on the other hand was not up to par but I attributed my disdain towards it as an aquired taste, since it fit the criteria for veganism.
One of the best and rare coffee shops of the area that offer vegan and vegetarian options and truly delicious food and shakes/juices/smoothies/frappes. Their veggie burger (the Chelsea) tastes and feels really close to meat, probably the best I've ever had.
Wait time is not that long and your mouth waters as soon as you walk into the place. I would recommend getting a wrap, especially the Kansas City or the Southwest. Good options for both those who are vegan and vegetarian and those who are not.
Great food!! We have lunch at Tiger Lily Cafe regularly. Love the sunshine burger wrap, mocha cappuccino but they have so much to choose from, check out their menu. Great artsy environment. Check it out.
I can't believe I used to push my now 19 year old here in a stroller! The food has always been interesting in options and fantastic in taste. Staff is very friendly even if it gets busy during the rush hours. If you want hand made food in an interesting, eclectic environment the tiger lily is always a great choice.
Staff is always super nice, and their being open until 6pm everyday, Sunday included is very practical.
